Announcing our partnership with Light Project

Today we announced Nightingale Housing is joining forces with Light Project, innovative leaders in state-of-the-art lighting.

Since its inception in 2008, Light Project has led the way in innovative lighting technology, specialising in architectural lighting and garnering recognition for its award-winning designs across diverse industries. 

Recognising that lighting the built environment accounts for almost 20% of global energy consumption and 6% of resulting CO2 emissions worldwide, Light Project has committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2025, aligning perfectly with Nightingale's values of advancing design while prioritising environmental sustainability. 

We’re looking forward to incorporating Light Project’s expertise, creativity, and shared commitment to healthy homes into our projects. CEO Simonne Bailey said, "Sustainable solutions have been part of our ethos for many years. Teaming up with Nightingale is such a natural fit for us. We're excited to explore new avenues with the team, expanding on our sustainability initiatives while creating positive impacts in the housing sector."

Nightingale CEO Dan McKenna echoed this sentiment, noting that “the generous support from Light Project will further bolster Nightingale’s mission to provide great housing where it's needed most”.

We pay our respects to Elders both past and present, and recognise and respect their abiding connection to this land, its waterways and community. We also acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country on which we meet and work throughout Australia.
