PROJECT MANAGER

We’re looking for an exceptional Project Manager to join the Nightingale Housing team. 

About the role:

We’re seeking a Project Manager to deliver sustainable multi-residential projects on time and on budget.

This full-time, contract role reports directly to our Head of Development and will be responsible for managing live projects through all stages of construction.

Key responsibilities:

Project & Design Support

  • Assist in managing the overall project programme, design deliverables, and milestones.
  • Facilitate third-party design reviews and manage the resolution of contractor RFIs.
  • Assist in liaising with local authorities to progress approvals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Assist with construction delivery, including defect management, site inspections, and OHS audits/reporting.

Financial & Commercial Support

  • Monitor consultant budgets and assist with expenditure tracking.
  • Support consultant engagement, including preparation of RFPs/RFTs, PSA negotiations, provisional sum expenditure, and variation management.
  • Assist in assessment of payment claims, provide cost advice, and contribute to programme and cost reporting.
  • Support with investor and stakeholder reporting, including PCG reports.

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Contribute to achieving compliance with social procurement, sustainability frameworks, Green Star (Buildings & Communities), and NatHERS requirements.
  • Support environmental audits and sustainability performance reporting.

 Skills and attributes:

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Experience delivering residential or mixed-use developments.
  • Qualifications or experience in Architecture, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to maintain clear channels within the project team and provide timely updates.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and values-driven, with a commitment to sustainable and community-focused outcomes.
  • Excellent and clear communicator
