Tours

Do I get to see the inside of apartments?

Wherever possible we will arrange for you to view an apartment, although this is not always guaranteed. Of course, we respect the needs of Nightingale residents. Whenever we enter private apartments, we kindly ask you to refrain from touching personal items or taking photos inside apartments.

Where does the money from the tour tickets go?

Half of all tour booking profits goes to Nightingale Housing for the time and administration associated with running the tours. The other half goes to the owners corporation of the respective Nightingale community. A small fee is also paid to the resident who generously opens their home to offer others a sneak peak into the Nightingale world.

How long does the tour take?

The tour runs for about 60 minutes which includes time for questions.

Can I take photos during my tour?

You are welcome to take photos of common areas but it is strictly forbidden to photograph private apartments. Please be mindful of taking photos of residents going about their daily activities and please respect your fellow tour members by not holding up the group. (Photographs may be taken by the Nightingale team for promotional purposes. Just let us know if you’d prefer not to be included.)

Are there ID or minimum age requirements for attending a tour?

You won’t need to bring your ID.

While we love children, our tours often include visiting private residences, so we cannot accommodate children under 10.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the tour?

No need to bring a printed ticket — showing us the booking email on your phone will be sufficient.

Are tour tickets transferable?

For security reasons, tours are not transferable. Please make sure the names of the people on the ticket matches the person actually attending.
